Brewster Landing to McConnell Bobtown Landing
The first and only bridge that you will see is the bridge at McConnell Bobtown Landing. There is a BIG BEND in this river segment. 2.68 miles downstream, the river makes a 1 mile detour in the shape of a human ear.(see map below)
Brewster Landing is located about 5 miles west of Route 26 on Winslow Road, or 1 1/2 miles east of Winslow on Winslow Road. A billboard on Winslow Road marks Brewster Landing. Brewster Landing has a cement boat ramp and off-road parking lot.
McConnell / Bobtown Landing is 1/4 mile west of McConnell on West McConnell Road. The best launch/take-out site is at the
New Universal Access floating boat dock with EZ Dock to help launch your kayak.

There is ample off-road parking east and south of the bridge. This grassy area is owned by The Lena Community Park District.

Brewster Landing to McConnell Bobtown Landing
From Brewster Landing, go west to Winslow. Turn left on Rte 73, go about 5 miles south and turn left on West McConnell Road. Go about 3 miles to the Pecatonica River Bridge.
Winslow is famous for its 'Paradise Cove' Artesian Well. Abundant, free, good tasting water coming out of the ground 24/7 year round. Bring your empty water jugs to Winslow and fill them up FREE. Located on Hwy 73, southern edge of Winslow. Watch the road signs for 'Paradise Cove' Artesian Well on your car shuttle route. Who needs beer, when water tastes this good!

From McConnell Bobtown Landing go west about 3 miles, turning right on Rte 73. Go north about 5 miles to Winslow, turning right on Winslow Road. Go about 1.5 miles to Brewster Landing.
