The Hancock Ave Boat Ramp is owned by the
City of Freeport.
The cement ramp is located 300 feet upstream from
the Hancock Ave Bridge on the left.

There is a small broken dam at Brown's Mill,
about 10 miles downstream,
that you 'might' have to portage around.
The LEFT side of this dam is lower.

The Ridott Fishing Park is located at
6900 E River Rd, north of Ridott, IL 61067
Stephenson County owns this strip of land (wide ditch)
between East River Road and the river,
extending upstream about 500 feet from the bridge.
There is no ramp.
Just pick your best launch/take-out spot on the dirt river bank.
